Liverpool ready to COMMIT to £60m transfer
Liverpool are ready to commit to a £60m transfer, according to reports. Not every fan will agree with it, though.
Liverpool are looking to strike some major deals this year. Of course, the most exciting of those are who the Reds could sign.

Alexander Isak, Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong, Xavi Simons...
Some big names have been linked with moves as Liverpool attempt to rebuild a (surely) title-winning squad for Arne Slot. This, after all, isn't really his squad - he's winning the Premier League with Jurgen Klopp's.
That will change this summer. Liverpool are expected to make a lot of moves happen, both incoming and outgoing.
The latter is an interesting one, too. There will be sales that split opinion as some players depart after solid campaigns.
One name on that potential exit list is Luis Diaz.

Luis Diaz to leave Liverpool?
Luis Diaz's contract expires in 2027 and that means this summer is the final year that Liverpool can command a good price for him. Now, they are trying to get him to renew his deal.
Those discussions haven't gone well thus far, however. Anfield Watch reported back in February that Diaz was a potential departure this summer, with Saudi Arabian clubs looking at him.
If there's no contract renewal, Liverpool will be very open to selling. Though, the price must be right.
Football Insider now claims that price to be around £60m. Liverpool would accept offers in that range, should they get the impression from Diaz that he's not going to re-sign at Anfield.
This one will split the fans, however. Diaz has been hot and cold this season but his impact is undeniable.
Letting him go after a 15-goal season could end up being a massive mistake, especially as the Reds would then need to replace him. There aren't exactly a series of forwards linked with the club who can do that, either - though, Cody Gakpo would take his place as the first-choice left-winger.

This is one of the more interesting transfer stories heading into Liverpool's summer. It's difficult to know what way it's going to go and either way, Richard Hughes and co. will face questions.
