HUGE Luis Diaz transfer update as exit talk HOTS UP
Given Liverpool’s success so far this season, you’d be forgiven for assuming no player would be wanting to leave.
However, according to reports, this is not the case for Luis Diaz.

The Colombian winger has been linked with a move away from Liverpool as far back as last season, with Barcelona being the reported destination, and fresh reports recently alleged that negotiations over a new contract had fallen through.
As a result, it was suggested that Liverpool might be on the hunt for a new left-winger.
But as it turns out this might not be the case.
Via a post on X, formerly Twitter, Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg is reporting that Diaz is NOT currently planning a move away from Anfield.
Plettenberg states that the Colombian “feels very comfortable at the club, and there are no ongoing talks with other teams at the moment”.
He also goes on to say that Diaz “has a very good relationship with Arne Slot”.
Luis Diaz set to stay at Liverpool
This report is one that matches more what we are seeing on the pitch at the moment. It is clear that Slot trusts Diaz - more than he does Darwin Nunez, anyway - and has been deploying him as his starting centre-forward.
Having not previously scored in the league since September (although a hattrick against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League last month should be taken into account), Diaz rewarded this move by bookending Liverpool’s 6-3 rout of Tottenham on Sunday with a brace.
And it could have been even more had Diaz had his shooting boots on.
If true, we imagine that the relationship with head coach Slot is one of the primary factors for Diaz being happy at the club right now. The Dutchman is evidently a coach who can get the very best out of his players and takes real joy in navigating awkward situations so they are happy.
There is every chance Diaz has gone from dissatisfied to welcoming his place in the team because of this.
And leaving the best team in the world is never really a smart decision anyway.
