Liverpool star now wanted by at least THREE Premier League clubs
Liverpool are interested in improving their left-back options in the upcoming transfer window.
Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez has been identified as the priority target with sporting director Richard Hughes aiming to sign the 21-year-old for the SECOND time in his career.

That’s because Hughes was the technical director at Bournemouth when Kerkez was acquired from AZ back in 2023. Also named as potential Liverpool recruits are Jorrel Hato from Ajax, Rayan Ait-Nouri of Wolves and Fulham’s Antonee Robinson.

And if the club do decide to strengthen at left-back it could mean trouble for two current stars.
Robertson and Tsimikas under threat
Andy Robertson has been a Reds’ mainstay since 2017, going on to establish himself as an Anfield legend by winning the Champions League and the Premier League among other honours.
But the 31-year-old has been far from his best this season, affording opportunities to long-term understudy Kostas Tsimikas.
The Greek defender has been at Liverpool since 2020, rarely threatening Robertson’s supremacy until now. That however owes more to Robertson’s decline rather than any drastic improvement on the part of the 28-year-old.
It would be no surprise to see one or both of Liverpool’s current left-back options move on this summer although Robbo would be valued as a senior head in the squad until his contract expires in 2026.
Liverpool could sell Tsimikas this summer
If a decent fee comes in for Tsimikas then Hughes and head coach Arne Slot would surely consider it. The Reds are relatively well protected with Tsimikas under contract for another two years and last year they reportedly fielded interest from Barcelona for his services.
And that transfer interest hasn’t gone away with Greek journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos of Sportime confirming that at least THREE current Premier League teams have got Tsimikas on their radar.
Tsimikas target for three PL clubs
“Clubs from Premier League (at least 3) are interested in Kostas Tsimikas,” he wrote on X. “Not 100% that Tsimikas will be for sale from Liverpool.”
The post on X was also followed up with an article for Sportime, emphasising the interest being shown in Tsimikas.

A lot is set to depend on whether or not Liverpool get the right players in during the summer transfer window. Should Kerkez - or anyone else - arrive at the club this year then it could spell the end of Tsimikas’s Liverpool career.
