Liverpool are on the brink of learning if their €60m transfer plan can go ahead. The Reds will be crossing their fingers.

It promises to be a major summer for Liverpool as they attempt to overhaul their squad. Overhauling a title-winning squad isn't exactly easy, after all.

But the Reds feel they can improve fairly significantly on the squad Arne Slot has pushed to Premier League glory. Of course, they'll need to find the best possible targets in order to do that.

Liverpool are currently figuring out exactly who's available to them this summer, with the likes of Alexander Isak, Dean Huijsen and Hugo Ekitike on the shortlist. Though, they might have answers on all three of them already.

Isak almost certainly isn't available this summer. Newcastle United have set an incredible asking price for him and even then, they may not actually accept.

Huijsen, though, is definitely available. He's got a £50m release clause in his contract and Liverpool are eager to trigger it - that's just a case of whether the player wants to move to Anfield.

Eintracht Frankfurt would sell Ekitike this summer but their asking price keeps rising. A deal is there, even if the actual cost of it is unclear.

And now another potential target may become available. The Reds could get the go-ahead shortly.

Juventus and Kenan Yildiz

JuveFC claimed in March that Liverpool are ready with an opening bid of €60m. They're not the only club in that bidding process but the Reds would like to sign the teenager if possible.

Juventus understandably don't want to sell Yildiz. They're hoping to hang onto arguably their brightest talent for a long time to come.

However, Calciomercato makes it very clear that they might not have a choice. Juventus are in serious danger of not making the UEFA Champions League - they currently sit in fifth place in Serie A, one point behind Bologna.

That would see them miss out on the competition next season and the hit in income almost certainly brings about player sales. Yildiz is on that list, says the report, as his transfer fee would go along way to solving their problems on its own.

Liverpool, then, could find out if Yildiz is fully available next month. A poor finish to the season (or simply one worse than Bologna's) would essentially force a transfer to happen.
