Liverpool could soon be in the market for a new winger as the futures of Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz remain uncertain.

Salah, 32, could be on the move to Al Hilal at the end of the season when his current contract expires. Diaz, meanwhile, looks set to be sold amid a contract standoff of his own.
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes and owners FSG might well have an expensive rebuild on their hands when it comes to attackers next summer.
One option which could help solve both problems is the Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi. The four-cap Germany international has got a contract at Signal Iduna Park until 2027 but is “considering his options” according to TBR Football.
Adeyemi, 23, was reported to have held talks with Napoli coach Antonio Conte over a winter transfer but currently looks set to reject the opportunity to move on this January.
Napoli wanted the left-footer to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who joined PSG earlier this month.
Liverpool fancy Adeyemi
But it’s now reported that Adeyemi would like to remain with Dortmund until the end of the season when he will have a better pick of destinations.
Top Premier League sides including Liverpool have been linked with his signature with Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle also credited with interest.
The Reds would have to win a massive transfer fight to emerge victorious in the chase for Adeyemi, who was described by former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as one of the most “exciting” talents around.
It follows Italian reports earlier this week that the Reds were keen on adding him to the ranks.
Equally capable of playing left or right wing, Adeyemi’s versatility makes him an attractive signing and he has scored five goals this season in 15 matches. He has also registered five assists but he will have been hoping for better this term.
Things could change for Adeyemi during the second half of the season with former Liverpool midfielder Nuri Sahin losing his job as Dortmund coach.
Adeyemi joined Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg back in 2022, having spent time with Bayern Munich’s youth teams as a child.
