'I love it!’ - Julian Alvarez's public declaration to Liverpool wonderkid amid transfer talks
Julian Alvarez was quizzed by a Liverpool wonderkid recently and he made an interesting declaration amid transfer talks with the Reds.
Anfield Watch revealed exclusively that Julian Alvarez is a target for the club ahead of the summer transfer window.
Liverpool Transfer News: Arne Slot gives backing as Reds line-up club record deal
Richard Hughes will be looking to shake things up in attack for Arne Slot's side as he looks to find the perfect no.9 for the Dutchman's system.
In the last few months, it has become apparent that Slot does not trust Darwin Nunez who will be allowed to leave in the summer. Anfield Watch revealed he may not be alone either, with Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota also up for sale.
With the trio departing, Hughes should have enough funds at the club to sanction a move for Alvarez even if his current price tag is in excess of £100m.

And if a move is to come to fruition, Alvarez should already feel right at home.
Julian Alvarez's advice to Kieran Morrison amid transfer talks
The Argentine's best friend in football is Alexis Mac Allister with whom he shares a close bond. Linking up with him will be an enticing prospect for Alvarez.
But it's not just Mac Allister who Alvarez will know from Slot's current squad. Last summer, the Argentine shot an interesting video for Adidas with Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz.
The video also hosted Trey Nyoni and Kieran Morrison, two of the most promising young players in the Reds' first team squad.
In that video, Morrison and Nyoni had the chance to quiz Alvarez and the former asked him an important question.
Morrison asked Alvarez what the best advice was that he had been given in his entire career.
"Well, I can mention a lot of advice," Alvarez said.
"A lot of things that I've been told in my career. I've been around a lot of professionals and a lot of big people advise me but if I had to pick one piece of advice is to have fun and be happy whilst playing football because I love it and I think this is the most important."
It's a valuable piece of advice from Alvarez and something that he could continue to demonstrate to Nyoni and Morrison at the AXA training centre if he indeed completes a move to Liverpool.
But what's even more interesting about Alvarez's comments is not its content but the timing.
This video was recorded last summer around the same time as Liverpool were talking to Manchester City about the Argentine, which has also been confirmed by the player's agent.
The fact that Alvarez appeared on the video with four other Liverpool players was a bit random, it almost felt like he was one of them.
In hindsight, it could easily have been a video prepared and recorded in advance with the view that Alvarez may join the club in the future, but ultimately it didn't work out that summer.

That does not mean it cannot work out this summer though. There's everyone chance that Hughes will look to 'correct' what he could not complete last summer and secure a deal for the Argentine.
