’Remains to be seen’ if Liverpool pair will ACTUALLY stay next season
Liverpool could be saying goodbye to the pair this summer. Let's see what the Reds do.
Liverpool (almost certainly) have a title-winning squad right now. However, they're ready to tear it apart.

Of course, part of that isn't their choice. The Reds would love to keep hold of Trent Alexander-Arnold but the Scouser looks set on a move to Real Madrid.
It's a blow and one they'll just have to deal with.
Virgil van Dijk and Mo Salah, however, are now set to renew their contracts and remain at Anfield. That locks down arguably the two most important players in the squad.
There are those, though, who face uncertain futures. Darwin Nunez, for instance, almost certainly leaves the club this summer.
Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz could well join him in that as both have plenty of interest in them. Ibrahima Konate is another who could leave as he enters the final year of his contract and Paris Saint-Germain are looking to take advantage.
All of those players are strong candidates to leave this summer but they're not the only ones. One pair could go either way.

The future at centre-back
Van Dijk will be a centre-back at Liverpool next season. It's impossible to say who else fits that description.
Konate, as mentioned, may leave for PSG and that one does feel a little bit written in the stars. Then there are Joe Gomez and Jarell Quansah.
Gomez nearly left Liverpool last summer. The Reds offered him to Newcastle United as part of a deal for Anthony Gordon, only for things to fall apart at the death.
Initially, however, Newcastle wanted Quansah. Liverpool said no but the Magpies are back in for him this summer and it's thought the Reds may be far more open to a deal.
It's all led to the BBC claiming it 'remains to be seen' if the pair will stay at Liverpool beyond this season. There's a very, very good chance that both depart as they search for first-team football - something they don't look like getting under Arne Slot.
