The Senegal international, 21, signed from Metz in summer 2024 and has been a revelation for the Principality side, contributing both in an attacking and defensive sense all season long.
A recent graphic shared by Hudl Statsbomb placed Camara among the best players in Europe’s top five leagues for counterpressures and counterpressure regains. Also on the list were Szoboszlai as well as Paris Saint-Germain talent Joao Neves.

A versatile, midfield all-rounder, Camara could occupy any of the three main midfield roles for Slot’s side. His work-rate would surely impress the Dutchman and his effectiveness in possession shows he is not just a destroyer.
