Liverpool Transfer Latest: Reds ready offer as star says he's STAYING
The Reds are flying under Arne Slot, sitting seven points clear at the top of the Premier League, winning the ‘league phase’ of the UEFA Champions League and making it to the final of the Carabao Cup.

Slot’s side have managed this despite only adding one name to their ranks this season, Federico Chiesa, who arrived late in the summer transfer window.
The January window was a quiet one at Anfield, although a number of players did depart on loan including Jayden Danns who joined Championship side Sunderland.
Now, two weeks after the English transfer window slammed shut, another Anfield departure has been confirmed.
James Norris joins Shelbourne on loan
Liverpool’s left-back spot has been a point of contention this season, with many fans feeling neither Andy Robertson nor Kostas Tsimikas are good enough, but Slot is yet to turn to his academy for another option.
The Reds' left-back depth has just taken another blow as James Norris, who has made two appearances for the senior team, has now joined League of Ireland Premier Division side Shelbourne FC.
The move was confirmed by Shelbourne on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Norris spent last season on loan with Tranmere Rovers, making 20 appearances for the League Two outfit, and will now join the reigning Irish champions.
Many supporters will be familiar with Norris’ new manager, Damien Duff, who spent the majority of his career playing in the Premier League – also earning 100 caps for Ireland.
The move makes the future of Liverpool’s left-back spot a little less certain, with names like Milos Kerkez and Alvaro Carreras being linked with moves to Anfield in the summer.
Norris becomes Liverpool’s 16th player out on loan, and another example of the quality that the Reds’ academy can produce.
