Liverpool are increasingly interested in a potential move for Bayern Munich’s attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala, who is also attracting attention from Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain.

While Bayern have expressed their desire to secure Musiala to a new long-term deal, CaughtOffside reports that Liverpool have been placed on high alert as the 21-year-old approaches the final year of his current contract at the Allianz Arena.

Fabrizio Romano, speaking to CaughtOffside, revealed that while Bayern remain confident about extending Musiala’s contract, no agreement has been reached yet, and the process could take time. As a result, it’s not surprising to see other top clubs exploring the possibility of signing the talented young German.

Can Liverpool lure Musiala to Merseyside?

Musiala, at just 21, is widely regarded as one of the brightest prospects in European football. He has the potential to become a Bayern legend if he commits his future to the club, potentially becoming a key figure for both the team and German football as a whole.

However, Musiala’s ties to English football—he spent part of his youth career at Chelsea and represented both England and Germany at the youth level before choosing to play for Germany at the senior level—mean Premier League clubs may hold some hope of convincing him to return to England.

Premier League sides could feel optimistic about luring Musiala if he continues to delay signing a new contract with Bayern. Although some sources suggest that staying at Bayern remains his priority, Musiala appears open to exploring other options, including a potential move to the Premier League

Liverpool and Man City, in particular, could try to persuade him, but his current asking price, reportedly around €180 MILLION, would be a significant hurdle for any club hoping to secure his services.

Negotiating that fee with Bayern would be the first challenge, before even considering whether Musiala would be tempted by a switch.
