Hugo Ekitike's agent might have just dropped a massive hint about his client's stance about a potential move to Liverpool.

Their departures will make way for Richard Hughes to bring in players more suited to Arne Slot's style of play.
One player who has been linked with the club since breaking through at Reims is Hugo Ekitike. We've recently written about why he would be a perfect fit for Slot's system and why he could also be a transformational player in the Premier League.
Now the latest developments will add even more fuel to the fire about his links to Liverpool.
Hugo Ekitike's agent drops Liverpool transfer hint
Hugo Ekitike's agent is Karl Mwalako Buchmann who goes by the user name @mwalako on the social media platform X. His account is of course followed by Ekitike himself.
And looking at Buchmann's latest retweet, it's interesting to spot that the last tweet Ekitike's agent shared is from a Liverpool fan user @DxIceGabbana hyping up the French forward after his brilliant goal scored against Ferencvaros in the Europa League.
Buchmann of course could have entirely made this choice by mistake, he may not have realised the tweet was from a Liverpool fan. But we are choosing to see this as a hint.
Ekitike's agent could have retweeted the official Europa League account to share the goal but he chose this specific Liverpool fan account. Maybe that is a sign about where Ekitike's head might be, or how he would feel about a potential move to Anfield.
Landing Ekitike won't be cheap. Sports Bild's newspaper edition has recently reported that Eintracht Frankfurt would want around €80m for his services.
But Liverpool should generate a lot of of income if Diaz, Nunez and Jota are sold. The club is also in a healthy situation when it comes to the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), which should all make it easier for the Reds to spend big in the summer.
For Ekitike the fee would essentially be £67m, which for a forward of his ilk in modern football isn't an extortionate price. The chances are knowing Michael Edwards' ability to negotiate deals, Liverpool would be able to get him for a little bit cheaper as well.
Only 22 years old with the world at his feet. Ekitike is exactly the type of forward who could thrive at Liverpool.
The Reds have been linked with a move for Alexander Isak recently, but they might be better off buying a cheaper alternative in Isak, who still does a lot of the things that the Newcastle forward does.
Just like when Liverpool bought the trio of Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai instead of Jude Bellingham.

The Reds will be rebuilding their attack in much the same way and it makes more sense to spend wisely rather than splash the cash on one player.

We should sell 3 players just to get one player. Your maths skills aren't the sharpest.
Au contraire mate, it's your reading skills need sharpening. The article literally says we're doing the exact opposite 🤣 "The club is also in a healthy situation when it comes to the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), which should all make it easier for the Reds to spend big in the summer.
