Former Liverpool player says he'd love to see midfielder LEAVE
Liverpool have been tipped for a summer transfer overhaul. Arne Slot has largely had to depend on Jurgen Klopp’s squad and has done an unbelievable job.
The Reds are inching ever closer to the Premier League title but several players in the squad could end up leaving in order to finance incomings.

Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez and Jarell Quansah are all under scrutiny as the summer window looms closer.
Another player whose immediate future is at stake is Harvey Elliott.
Frustrating season for Elliott
The 22-year-old midfielder has barely featured for Arne Slot during a frustrating campaign which also included a long injury-enforced layoff.
Out of contract in 2027, Elliott was even mooted as a potential January departure with Brighton and Borussia Dortmund both thought to be keen.
More recently there have been links with Newcastle and reports suggested that Liverpool were prepared to cash in for between ÂŁ40 million and ÂŁ50m.
Nonetheless, there were claims earlier this week that the club had opted to keep Elliott around owing to his “homegrown” status.
And one prominent voice now states that for the good of his career Elliott needs to leave Anfield.
Behind Mo Salah in right-wing pecking order - and with Dominik Szoboszlai ahead of him in midfield - there appears to be no viable pathway to Elliott getting significant game time under Slot.
Joe Cole 'would like' to see Elliott leave
Accordingly, Joe Cole - who had an ill-fated spell at the Reds - has called on the playmaker to move on in order to reap the full benefit of his talents.
“For players like Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones, I think they’re both fantastic players and are more than capable of playing for England, but unfortunately for them, Liverpool are very strong in that area of the pitch,” he told Paddy Power as reported by Tribal Football.
“I’d love to see Harvey playing regularly. There are options for him and if he does become available, I think quite a few teams will be interested in him.
"He’s a fantastic player and I’d like to see him leave Liverpool to play regular football because he’s old enough and has done his time.
"I’d just love to see him play because he’s such a fantastically talented player."

Elliott has totalled just over 600 minutes across 23 appearances in all competitions this season - making one start in the Champions League and none in the Premier League.
