FSG sign 36-year-old star as Mo Salah STILL waits for Liverpool contract offer
FSG are making big plans ahead of the new year with a focus on one of their biggest franchises.
As Liverpool are locked in an impasse with Mohamed Salah over a new contract with one of the key stumbling blocks being the Egyptian's wages FSG are not afraid to splash the cash elsewhere.

Salah has made it clear he wants to stay at Liverpool. However, the clock is ticking for the Reds to find an agreement before anyone else can swoop in.
The Egyptian will be free to talk to interested parties from abroad next month and could even leave the club on a free transfer.
However, just as all of this is unfurling with Salah, FSG's Boston Red Sox are making big moves in the market.
FSG sign a 36 year old veteran for Boston Red Sox
FSG have set out big plans for the Red Sox ahead of the new baseball season and have decided to attack the free agency market in order to rebuild the team.
In order to do so the Red Sox's latest $10.75m acquisition will raise some eyebrows for Liverpool fans.
According to ESPN, Aroldis Chapman has signed a one year deal with the franchise and he has since confirmed this on his social media account.
Chapman is 36 years old. He will be turning 37 years old before the new season which is considered a veteran age even in baseball where players can play longer than in football.
The fact that FSG have been so eager to spend so much on a veteran and moved for Chapman without hesitation whereas they continue to dither over a new deal for Salah with a primary factor being concerns around his age is an interesting point.
It seems a little hypocritical to have one policy with Liverpool but a completely different one with the Red Sox.
With FSG hoping to spend even more money with the Red Sox, it's understandable why some Liverpool fans will be disappointed by the increased investment into the baseball franchise and the seemingly lack off investment into their own club at the moment.
Things can only turn better from here. And a Salah extension would do a lot to heal the open wounds around Anfield right now.
