Liverpool can replace Darwin Nunez for FREE
Liverpool have a way of replacing Darwin Nunez for free. They're reportedly considering it.
Darwin Nunez caught flak this week after a disappointing performance against Newcastle United. It was particularly a shame as Newcastle is the scene of the Uruguayan's peak in a Red shirt.

Nunez was brutally unfortunate not to get on the end of a Cody Gakpo header to score, but other than that, he never really came close. He fluffed his lines from about 10 yards, while his passing was off all night long.
It just wasn't Darwin Nunez at anywhere near his best. And that naturally has people talking.
Can Liverpool rely on Nunez going forward? You never know what you're going to get and there are doubts over his fit under Arne Slot.
After all, Slot opted to start Luis Diaz centrally against Manchester City, rather than Nunez.
If Liverpool are going to try and replace Nunez, it appears one of their primary targets could be absolutely free. Now that's a steal.
Liverpool like Jonathan David
The Athletic claim that Liverpool are one of several parties interested in Jonathan David. The Canadian is expected to leave Lille at the end of the season with the expiration of his contract.
Not that this should surprise anyone. Liverpool have liked David for some time and were linked with him recently.
But their interest goes all the way back to at least 2020. David was on the three-man shortlist of strikers that eventually saw Diogo Jota signed.
Now he's available for free - and could be the kind of striker that Liverpool are looking for. David has enjoyed a really solid season for Lille yet again, and his style of play might be a little more suited to the Reds than that of Nunez.
Certainly, he's a player worth taking a chance on - and Nunez won't have long to convince Liverpool otherwise.
