Liverpool’s GOLDEN chance to sign £130m player as he wants OUT
Arne Slot's first transfer window as Liverpool's head coach was far from active on the incomings front.
Federico Chiesa was the only senior arrival this summer while the Reds also secured an agreement for talented goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili who will join Liverpool next summer.
Liverpool are believed to be already on the hunt for potential targets for the coming windows as Slot eyes up bolstering his squad.

The Reds have already been present at Girona’s Champions League curtain-raiser with Slot interested in midfielder Viktor Tsygankov and defender Miguel Gutierrez.
It goes without saying that the Dutchman is looking to bolster his midfield ranks after a hot pursuit to sign Martin Zubimendi this summer.
The Spaniard opted to turn down the Anfield side in favour of staying put at boyhood club Real Sociedad.
The latest midfielder to be linked with Liverpool however is German sensation Florian Wirtz.
A CaughtOffside report surfaced in recent weeks outlining the Reds’ interest in one of Europe’s most exciting prospects.
Wirtz wants to leave in 2025
Wirtz currently plays his football for Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen, working under former Liverpool star Xabi Alonso.
The 21-year-old is contracted at the German club until 2027, so any move away next summer will come with a seismic fee.
German journalist Christian Falk has today revealed Wirtz’s wish to leave the club in 2025 to make his next career step.
Leverkusen are wanting a fee of €150m for their star man with Liverpool, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester City all interested in the midfielder.
It can be argued Liverpool should be prioritising other positions to strengthen before their midfield but Richard Hughes alluded to the idea of being opportunistic at the start of the summer - and how many opportunities are more attractive than acquiring one of Europe’s most exciting prodigies?
