Liverpool look to DOUBLE their money on forward
The recruitment team are set to be ruthless in their assessment of the squad this summer.
Liverpool have always been known for their killer negotiating skills, securing deals in the transfer market that make your jaw drop in astonishment.

Whether it is working tirelessly to identify hidden talents for extremely low fees - i.e., Andy Robertson back in 2017; scrounging for release clauses to secure players for a bargain price - Alexis Mac Allister back in 2022; or driving a hard deal to break even on an unsuccessful transfer - Christian Benteke back in 2016, Liverpool have a track record of excellence.
So the fans have every right to expect big things when the reports are suggesting that a big summer transfers window is on the horizon to address the glaring holes in the Reds' squad.
According to the latest reports, Liverpool have already set things in motion to try and pull off another one of those truly mind-blowing deals, and Premier League clubs are thought to be interested.
Hughes to double Liverpool's money on forward this summer
The recruitment department at Anfield has got a lot on it's plate right now. The contract extensions proposed to Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk are said to have been signed, so that's one crisis averted, but the hard work is only really about to begin.
Around three defenders will need to be brought in, alongside one midfielder - ideally a defensive one, although fans wouldn't be opposed to a new No.10 - and possibly two or three attackers, depending on how ruthless the club decides to be. Having said that, six new players is still an ambitious plan.

The budget to pull off such a feat should be pretty hefty. The team topped the Champions League 'league phase' with seven wins, made it to a Carabao Cup final, and are set to win the Premier League.
Furthermore, only two additions have been made to the first team across the last three windows; those being Federico Chiesa for £12.5m and Giorgi Mamardashvili for £30m, although the goalkeeper will not join the Reds until this summer.
However, some players will also be sold in order to free up even more cash and yet another genius plan is being set in motion, this time with Chiesa after just one season at the club.
CaughtOffside are reporting that AC Milan and three un-named Premier League clubs are interested in signing the Italian.
While it's clear that Arne Slot doesn't fancy him, he is still just 27-years-old and has a track record of delivering impressive returns when given the opportunity to start regularly.
As such, the interest for the player is there and Liverpool have an ambitious plan to add another deal to their hall of fame by setting an asking price of €25-30m for him to double their money.
The strategy is bold to say the least, given the winger has recorded just 406 minutes of football this season. While he has impressed in the past, there is little evidence to suggest can return to his former levels.
But just like Liverpool did last summer, it's entirely plausible that a club might take a punt on him.

At such a high price, the Reds will surely struggle to convince someone to take the Italian off their hands, and now that Michael Edwards is back at the helm of the executive structure, anything is possible.
