Liverpool winger wants to QUIT club this month
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot is getting plenty of productivity out of his wingers this season.
Mohamed Salah is in the form of his life, scoring 20 goals and adding 17 assists in only 26 matches this term.
Cody Gakpo has scored 11 goals overall, providing four assists, as he establishes himself as a key player under his compatriot.
The Dutchman is locked in a battle with Luis Diaz on the left flank with the Colombian also occasionally switching to centre forward.

And Slot has ALSO worked his magic on the 27-year-old, who has scored 12 goals overall and given three assists in all competitions.
There is promise for the future in the form of Ben Doak, the 19-year-old sensation on loan at Middlesbrough. However, it’s not all been plain sailing for Liverpool’s widemen this term.
Chiesa wants Serie A return
Federico Chiesa was added as a back-up to Salah in the summer transfer window, with it expected that the Italy international could relieve the burden on the Egyptian King.
Capable of playing across the frontline, the ex-Juventus man was seen as a clever purchase by sporting director Richard Hughes at the time but the move has not worked out.
Having appeared only FOUR times for the first team, and only once in the Premier League, Chiesa has already been linked with a return to Serie A.
Inter Milan, AC Milan, Roma, Napoli, Atalanta and Fiorentina have all been mentioned as potential destinations for the 27-year-old, although salary remains a significant sticking point for Italian teams.
But it has now emerged that returning to Italy is the primary wish of Chiesa this winter, either on a six-month loan deal or with a view to a permanent move.
FootMercato has revealed that Chiesa would like to regain his rhythm by playing regularly and that could mean a return to his native country.
Furthermore it’s been suggested by the French publication that Luciano Spalletti is pushing Chiesa towards a Serie A return in an effort to kickstart his fading international prospects.
It’s a shame it’s not happened for Chiesa thus far. But with the player under contract until 2027, a stint in Italy could help reignite his career.
After that, Liverpool could opt to sell, gaining a profit on a player they paid only £12m for, or else welcome back a rejuvenated Chiesa who can ultimately fulfil the potential the club saw last summer.
