Arne Slot READY to let star leave Liverpool for good
Arne Slot is reportedly ready to let one star leave Liverpool this summer for good. Time for the fans to say goodbye?
There will be plenty of exits from Liverpool this summer. Top of that list is Trent Alexander-Arnold, who's now widely expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Liverpool rejected an offer from Madrid back in January but they're powerless to stop it happening once the season is done. Now the hope is that he'll be the last to make that decision.
Both Virgil van Dijk and Mo Salah can also leave for free, of course.
But Liverpool also plan on making exits happen on their own terms. Anfield Watch understands that a major overhaul of the attacking options is the current plan.
Then there are the major questions. Ibrahima Konate will enter the final year of his contract and there's interest from Paris Saint-Germain. Do Liverpool sell or risk letting him leave for free in 2026?
Caoimhin Kelleher will enter his final year, too. The Reds are expected to accept a decent fee for him.
But while many players have question marks hanging over their head, one supposedly doesn't. Arne Slot and Liverpool are ready to sell.

Federico Chiesa to leave
GiveMeSport reports that Liverpool will accept an offer for Federico Chiesa this summer. The Italian arrived as a budget addition right at the start of the season but he's struggled for any significant game time under Slot.
Chiesa has played a meagre 28 minutes in the Premier League this season, for instance. Not particularly close to one half of football, in other words.
And that's despite him impressing whenever he's appeared. Chiesa was quite comfortably Liverpool's most impressive player in the Carabao Cup final.
But Slot isn't a big fan and he's ready to let the player leave Anfield after just one season. We do wonder if that was the plan all along, however.

Chiesa was massively undervalued at Juventus but Liverpool were the only team ready to make a move for him. Grabbing him purely to sell-on after one season may have been seen as a solid business investment.
Otherwise, it's difficult to see why this transfer happened. Liverpool and Slot have barely given Chiesa a chance to prove himself.
