Business between Liverpool and Everton is very rare.
Only a handful of players have played for both teams, and even fewer have transferred directly from one to the other.

Abel Xavier was the last player to cross Stanley Park, joining Liverpool from Everton in 2002. Gary Ablett was the last player to swap Anfield for Goodison in 1992.
That’s over 30 years since Everton last signed a Liverpool player, although there have undoubtedly been a few stars they quietly wished played on the other side of Stanley Park.
The three-decade streak could come to an end this summer though, because new reports have linked one of Liverpool's stars with a switch to Everton.

£30 million could see Red join David Moyes’ Toffees
According to a recent report from Football Insider, Everton have been told that a bid of £30 million would be enough for Liverpool to sanction the sale of Ben Doak.
The Scottish winger has spent the season impressing on loan in the Championship with Middlesbrough and is now attracting interest from a number of Premier League sides – including Liverpool’s oldest rivals.

Crystal Palace had a bid rejected for the 19-year-old in January, but it appears Richard Hughes has now set his asking price for the in-demand star.
Doak has managed three goals and seven assists in 24 Championship matches this season but may never get the chance to prove himself under Arne Slot.
Could Doak to Everton really happen?
Although it has been over 20 years since the two biggest clubs in Merseyside did business with each other, Liverpool also have interest in one of Everton’s prized assets.
Jarrad Branthwaite has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield for over a year, and Doak going to Goodison could open the door for the two clubs to do more business.
The £30m Liverpool are hoping to receive for Doak could also go a long way towards the summer overhaul that appears to be on the horizon.
A number of high-profile exits are expected, and Hughes and Michael Edwards will be looking at ways to raise funds for replacements, so Doak could end up on the chopping block.
