Saudi powerhouse READY to make £100 million move for Dominik Szoboszlai
Liverpool have defied expectations this season and already have one hand on the Premier League title.

Arne Slot’s maiden season has been full of surprises, and the Reds find themselves in an excellent position competing for three trophies.
EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool ready to beat Barcelona and Real Madrid to incredible left-back
Despite Slot’s success, a summer of change is on the way at Anfield with a number of first team regulars set to leave the club.
Anfield Watch exclusively revealed that Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota could all leave as part of Liverpool’s attacking rebuild.
Now, it is being reported that another of Slot’s stars could be on his way out, with one club readying an eyewatering bid.
Al-Hilal preparing £100 million bid for Dominik Szoboszlai
Dominik Szoboszlai seems to have found his feet under Slot and has been in red-hot form in recent weeks.
Now, according to Fichajes, the Hungarian is on the shortlist of Saudi Pro League champions Al-Hilal who want to make the 24-year-old their latest star signing.
The report states that Al-Hilal are preparing a bid of €120 million (roughly £100m) for Szoboszlai, and that there are also a number of clubs in Europe also monitoring the midfielder.

There has so far been little indication that Szoboszlai could leave Anfield in the summer, but an offer of €120 million would be hard to ignore.
The Hungarian national team captain arrived at Anfield in 2023 for €70 million and has been a mainstay in the starting XI for most of his time in Merseyside.
Could Szoboszlai be sold?
There is not an immediately obviously replacement for Szoboszlai in the Liverpool squad, although Curtis Jones has impressed at times this season, so the Reds would have to enter the transfer market to strengthen the midfield if the 24-year-old were to be sold.
A busy summer is already expected at Anfield, with left-back a priority as well as the front-line, and so replacing Szoboszlai may not be a task Richard Hughes wants this summer.
The Hungarian is under contract at Liverpool until 2028 so there is no immediate pressure to sell, and the player’s wishes could be the deciding factor in whether any offer from Saudi Arabia is considered.
The huge fee reported by Fichajes could give the Reds a much needed boost in their pursuit of targets in other positions, so if they are able to identify a Szoboszlai replacement for cheap then a deal could make sense.

Liverpool supporters will hope that Szoboszlai can maintain his current form regardless of interest from elsewhere, and many will be interested to see where the Hungarian’s future lies at the end of the season.
