Golden Dean Huijsen news could see Liverpool deal DONE
The latest news on Dean Huijsen is music to Liverpool's ears. This could get the deal done.
Liverpool are firmly in the race to land Dean Huijsen this summer. The centre-back is expected to leave Bournemouth once the campaign is over.

That's down to two reasons. Firstly, Huijsen has simply been brilliant, establishing himself as a top Premier League centre-back.
Anyone establishing themselves that quickly and in the season they turn 20 is going to generate serious interest. Huijsen has done just that, with several of the world's richest clubs hoping to grab him.
And that's all helped along by another factor: his release clause. Huijsen can leave Bournemouth for ÂŁ50m this summer, just one year after moving to the Cherries.
It means he's a guaranteed deal for anyone interested - as long as they can pay the fee. That's a bit of a problem for Liverpool, on paper, though.
They're not just trying to sign Huijsen this summer but have grand plans elsewhere. The Reds want a left-back, a right-back, and a centre-forward - as well as a centre-back.
That's a lot of money and paying a release clause adds a problem to that. Release clauses typically need to be paid in full. In other words, you can't pay them in instalments as you would a normal fee and all the cash must immediately be on hand.
Transfers are usually paid through installments, which makes it a lot easier for clubs to afford the massive fees. Liverpool's ability to pay Martin Zubimendi's last summer was one of the reasons that transfer got as close as it did but the Reds weren't also trying to secure three other major deals at the same time.
However, it seems they may have received a surprise boost there.

Dean Huijsen's release clause
Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany claims Huijsen's release clause can actually be paid in three instalments. It's 'been contractually agreed' that clubs can do this, making it much, much easier to get a deal done.
He also makes it clear that several clubs are locked in talks, one of which is Liverpool. The Reds will now hope to sway Huijsen towards Anfield and reject other potential offers.
This is a major win for Liverpool and we imagine the deal would be impossible if Bournemouth required that fee in full. It would simply be too big a chunk out of the budget in one go at a time when that money is needed.
The deal, then, is very much on and shouldn't affect Liverpool's other transfers this summer. Honestly, the more we hear about this one, the more likely it looks.
