Liverpool edging CLOSER to Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez agreement
It seems like Liverpool are edging closer to striking an agreement for Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez in what could be a major double deal.
Richard Hughes is in the market for a centre-back and a left-back this summer and he has identified two players from his former club as the perfect targets for the Reds.

Anfield Watch revealed exclusively that Liverpool had begun talks with Kerkez's representatives back in November of last year.
These were positive talks and Kerkez remains on the club's radar with Hughes holding him in high regarding having been the man to bring him to the Premier League while at Bournemouth back in the summer of 2023.
On top of Kerkez, there is also a strong interest in Dean Huijsen from the Reds.
The Spanish international has caught the eye with his performances this season and with uncertainty looming over the future of Ibrahima Konate, Liverpool would like to reinforce their ranks.

Liverpool closing in on double Bournemouth agreement
It would of course be unprecedented for Hughes to land two players from his former club. It's understood he still has close ties with Bournemouth and a strong relationship with the Cherries' boardroom and backroom staff.
Last summer, Hughes was ready to sent Giorgi Mamardashvili on loan to Bournemouth but that move fell through due to the player's insistence to stay at Valencia.
That highlights the trust Hughes still has within and could be the key to landing a double deal for Kerkez and Huijsen this summer. Something that Liverpool might be closing in on amid the latest reports.
According to a report by Givemesport Bournemouth 'will likely need at least two big sales to comply with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules.'
The report is based on Bournemouth's accounts for the current 2021-2024 PSR cycle and it claims that in order to avoid a breach the club will have two makes at least two massive sales or otherwise face potentially incurring a potential penalty.
This very much opens up the possibility of Liverpool finding an agreement with Bournemouth. The club are clearly ready to strike a deal given their PSR concerns based on the report.
And while there are other clubs in the race to sign both Huijsen and Kerkez, working with Hughes makes the most sense.
He would get to bring in two players Liverpool want and get a massive double deal over the line while at the same time helping out his former club as well.
