Bournemouth give Liverpool PERFECT Dean Huijsen news
Liverpool have got exactly what they needed to hear from Bournemouth over a move for Dean Huijsen. The Reds are eager to sign the defender.
Liverpool are one of several clubs in the mix for Dean Huijsen right now. The defender only joined Bournemouth back in the summer but his form this season has been enough to spark plenty of interest in him.

Of course, Liverpool were actually looking at Huijsen before he moved to Bournemouth. There were strong links from Italy saying just that, only for the Cherries to get there first.
Huijsen certainly wouldn't have had the level of gametime he's had at Bournemouth if he'd made the early move to Anfield, however. Doing it this way around means he could arrive at Liverpool as near-enough first-choice, depending on Ibrahima Konate's future.
That's a key factor here. Konate enters the final year of his contract this summer and Anfield Watch understands Paris Saint-Germain are pushing for a move.
The Frenchman's exit could spark Liverpool moving for Huijsen. Or it could even happen the other way around.

Dean Huijsen's future
David Ornstein suggests Bournemouth will look to finalise a deal to sell Huijsen early in the window. They're powerless to keep him around as there's a £50m release clause in his contract.
The Cherries are eager to get things sorted so they can move on. It's something that suits Liverpool perfectly - the Reds have a lot of uncertainty at centre-back right now. Knowing if they're getting Huijsen early in the window makes handling everything relatively straightforward.
"Both Bournemouth and the player would like this to be done and dusted relatively quickly," Ornstein told NBC Sports. "So he is expected to be a departure."
That comes after Ornstein again name-dropped Liverpool as one of the potential destinations for Huijsen. It's all coming together very nicely for the Reds.
Now, that isn't to say that Liverpool will definitely get Huijsen but this is exactly the way it had to go. The Reds would have struggled to wait around for a deal to happen as Konate's contract situation forces them into action.
Similarly, Joe Gomez and Jarell Quansah are possible departures this summer. Knowing if a deal for Huijsen is on the cards just makes it all easier.

We'll cross our fingers that he's heading to Anfield and we won't have to wait too long to find out if that's the case.
