Liverpool given 'straightforward' deal to sign 'top 3' talent in the WORLD
Liverpool could land a 'top 3' talent in a relatively straightforward deal. The Reds want to make it happen.
There's a busy summer ahead at Liverpool. The Reds want to make deals happen in virtually every area of the pitch - both in and out.

Admittedly, midfield will probably just be 'out'. Wataru Endo has been linked with an exit, while Harvey Elliott's future isn't rock solid.
But Liverpool will want to add to other areas. Goalkeeper is already sorted, in fact - Giorgi Mamardashvil will arrive from Valencia after signing in 2024.
Anfield Watch understands a major overhaul is expected up top, too. Liverpool want to give Arne Slot a proper attack built for him, rather than Jurgen Klopp.
That's far from all, though. Liverpool do want a new left-back as they shoot for a long-term successor to Andy Robertson.
Trent Alexander-Arnold's impending exit creates a void at right-back, too. That's one the Reds must fill in some form.
Then there's centre-back. All of the Reds' senior options have question marks hanging over them. Virgil van Dijk's contract is up, Ibrahima Konate enters the final year of his deal, Jarell Quansah has interest from Newcastle United and Joe Gomez wants first-team football.
Liverpool have the right player to replace them, though.

Dean Huijsen to Liverpool?
Liverpool are in the mix for Bournemouth's Dean Huijsen. The centre-back has had a tremendous debut campaign with the Cherries, proving himself to be one of the best young defenders around.
Though Liverpool knew that. They were heavily linked with Huijsen last season but didn't pull the trigger.
Now, however, they're convinced, and the Telegraph is the latest outlet to say they're pushing to sign Huijsen. It's described as a 'relatively straightforward' deal as Huijsen has a release clause in his contract.

It'll cost £50m to get him and while Liverpool aren't the only team in for him, they'll be among the favourites. Huijsen is no ordinary talent, either, and the Reds will do what they can here.
Bournemouth believe he has the ability to be a 'top three' centre-back in the world. That's exactly what Liverpool need, given Van Dijk - a top one centre-back in the world - will be winding down.

Replacing the Dutchman feels near-impossible. Maybe Huijsen is the one to do it.
