Liverpool set to spend 'INSANE' money on Premier League star
Liverpool have been recently linked with midfield reinforcements ahead of the summer transfer window.
Ryan Gravenberch has been trusted with the No6 role in Arne Slot’s team following the recruitment failure of Martin Zubimendi last summer.

Tyler Morton and Wataru Endo are not altogether trusted by Slot to carry out his midfield tasks and accordingly Liverpool might be ready to go to the transfer market for a solution to their depth problem.
Baleba on the radar
Carlos Baleba joined Brighton in 2023 for £23 million from Lille as a replacement for Moises Caicedo, who was signed by Chelsea for over £100m.
The 21-year-old has gone on to establish himself as one of the most consistent midfielders in the top flight and has subsequently been linked with several clubs further up the food chain.
Among them are Arsenal and Tottenham and Liverpool too have been named as suitors for the Cameroon international.

Bernard Tchoutang - a former Cameroon star in his own right - believes Liverpool would be the best move for his countryman although it’s reckoned that Brighton would ask for a Caicedo-like £100m to secure his services.
Noted Liverpool journalist David Lynch has confirmed that Liverpool’s interest in Baleba stretches back to the player’s Lille days and refuses to rule out the possibility of Slot’s side lavishing a record sum on the midfielder in transfer windows upcoming.
Baleba could go for 'insane' money
“I think Liverpool like him because I think they liked him when he was at Lille beforehand,” Lynch told the Anfield Index. “It was just a case of Brighton willing to take the risk at that point of bringing him over and giving him games.
“Liverpool want something that is a little bit closer to the finished product when they sign a player so I know he is someone that has been on the radar. “The big problem there is how much Brighton are going to ask for, it’s possibly insane money.
“He is a very capable player and Liverpool are hardly short of money. I wouldn’t rule this one out at all, but I haven’t heard anything concrete around that.”
