Say your goodbyes: Liverpool star will be FIRST to leave
It's time to say your goodbyes to Darwin Nunez. The Liverpool forward doesn't have long left.
Liverpool will oversee a summer of real change at Anfield in 2025. Of course, 2024 was that, too - just in an entirely different way.

Last year, it was all about a new off-the-pitch setup. A new sporting director in Richard Hughes, a new head coach in Arne Slot, and a restructuring of FSG that saw Michael Edwards and Julian Ward return to the fold.
It'll be all about changes on the pitch this year, though. Liverpool will try to sign several players for their first-team squad, handing Slot a group that suits him, rather than asking him to work with Jurgen Klopp's squad.
Several incoming transfers mean some must depart, however. One player we know isn't leaving is Mo Salah, thankfully, who signed a new contract last week.
But question marks remain over several others. Trent Alexander-Arnold is yet to commit his future to anywhere, with Real Madrid looking an increasingly likely destination.
Ibrahima Konate enters the final year of his contract this summer, forcing Liverpool's hand into a major decision. Caoimhin Kelleher is in a similar situation, while a left-back almost certainly leaves to make way for someone new.

Darwin Nunez is first to go
Football Insider claims that Darwin Nunez is first in line to leave Liverpool, though. The suggestion there is that the club have firmly made up their minds and the Uruguayan will depart Anfield for good.
Of course, he nearly did that back in January. Anfield Watch revealed that a massive offer arrived from Saudi Arabia and Nunez was on board.
Liverpool weren't, however, as they were unwilling to let go of a first-team player mid-season. It's one that will be revisited this summer and Saudi Arabia may well be Nunez's destination.
The striker won't be the only star to leave Liverpool this summer. He could be the one who brings in the most cash, though, and we imagine that's one of the main reasons the Reds have pencilled in his exit.
No one else who could leave is as out-of-the-team as Nunez is and capable of bringing in so much money. That's money that will immediately go towards incoming transfers, of course.

Time to say your goodbyes, then. These are unquestionably the final days of Darwin Nunez at Liverpool.
