Fabrizio Romano has moved to confirm that one Liverpool star has a very good chance of leaving the club this summer.

No one should get too attached to this current crop of Liverpool players. That's obviously asking a lot given they're on the brink of winning the Premier League but it's still a warning we'd recommend heeding.

For one, the biggest three stars at the club are all out of contract in the summer. Virgil van Dijk, Mo Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold are all heading towards their second Premier League winners' medals - but also the exit door.

Liverpool must get them to renew or risk losing them permanently. It's a heartbreaking one.

But they're not even the only potential exits. Anfield Watch revealed recently that a major overhaul is coming in attack.

Arne Slot deserves a forward line that suits his style of play and the current crop aren't reliable enough. That's the mentality at Anfield, anyway (and one we'd agree with).

And with that mentality in mine, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that one attacking exit is on the way.

Romano took to Twitter for a little update on Nunez. He makes it clear that the Uruguayan is fully focused on Liverpool - until July.

There's a 'strong chance' he could depart in the summer, says Romano. He then mentions a potential move to Saudi Arabia.

That's a story we broke here on Anfield Watch back in January. The Reds rejected an offer for Nunez, not wanting to let him go mid-season without an obvious replacement.

But it appears the Saudi bid will be back in the summer. And when it comes, Liverpool will almost certainly accept it and let Nunez leave after three years.

The overhaul needs exits, after all. Nunez is one of those that looks nailed-on.
