Darwin Nunez waits on result of MAJOR meeting
Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez will wait on the result of a major meeting happening soon. It could decide his future.
Darwin Nunez's future isn't very clear right now. As exclusively revealed by Anfield Watch, Liverpool rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia in January.

But a massive reason for rejecting that was simply timing. Liverpool didn't want to sell a first-team regular mid-season - not when replacing him would have come at a premium.
The same concerns aren't there in the summer. A similar offer would be accepted and the Reds are very much open to letting Nunez leave.
But that won't necessarily be to Saudi Arabia. We do anticipate an offer from the Saudi Pro League for Nunez but that's not the only place interested in him.
Reports recently claimed Nunez wanted a move to a Latin country, with Spain topping the list. More specifically, Atletico Madrid are said to be interested in signing him.
The report there claims Atletico are on the hunt for Antoine Griezmann's replacement - and Nunez is high on their shortlist.

Atletico's Griezmann meeting
Relovo reports that Atletico and Griezmann are set for an important meeting this month. It is '90 per cent' certain to decide the Frenchman's future as he pushes for a move to MLS.
Griezmann wants to move to the US for 'family reasons', with Los Angeles a likely destination. If he's granted an exit - and Atletico won't stand in his way - then they'll be chasing a replacement.
That's where Nunez comes in. A final decision to part ways with Griezmann would open the door to a new forward and the Uruguayan is high on their list.

Atletico is a club that's had plenty of success with Uruguayans, too. Diego Godin, Luis Suarez and Jose Gimenez have all played there successfully in recent years. Diego Forlan was a massive player for them before that.
Nunez could well be next. Griezmann staying would likely rule out any move for the Liverpool forward but his exit would instantly line up a move.
And we should know if that's happening within the next two weeks.
