Liverpool Transfer News: Reds to take advantage of Barcelona by completing INCREDIBLE double deal
It's not often that Liverpool have the chance to sign two players they have kept on their radars for a very long time from the same club.
It's especially not often when that club is Barcelona, who have lured players away from Anfield in the last decade or so rather than sold players to the Reds.

Just take Luis Suarez or Philippe Coutinho as an example who both left for the Camp Nou much to the disappointment of the club's supporters.
Liverpool on the other hand shopped elsewhere like Southampton. But now they have a chance to turn the tables and capitalise on Barcelona's misfortunes.
Why Liverpool have a golden chance to complete Frenkie de Jong transfer
Barcelona are not in the best financial position at the moment and the club are desperately trying to offload some of their more expensive stars.
According to a recent report, one of those players is Frenkie de Jong, with Barcelona keen to cash in on his services rather than extend his contract which expires in 2026 and Liverpool are believed to be interested in his services.
It means Barcelona have to sell the Dutch midfielder now before it's too late and he is simply able to just wait out his contract and leave on a free transfer.
Liverpool want to bring in a midfielder of De Jong's ilk and if he is available on the cheap this is a golden opportunity to bring in a player who Arne Slot will know well being his fellow compatriot and who could form a special double pivot with Ryan Gravenberch.
Why Liverpool have a golden chance to complete Dani Olmo transfer
Another report meanwhile has claimed that Barcelona's Dani Olmo could suddenly become available on a free transfer in the January window.
Liverpool have long held an interest in Olmo, who they tried to sign in the past while he was at RB Leipzig.
Barca took advantage of Andreas Christensen’s injury earlier this year to allocate 80 percent of the Dane’s salary to Olmo’s contract as an emergency measure, using Article 77 of LaLiga's Club Budget Preparation Rules in the case of a long-term injury which allowed them to register Olmo for the first half of the season.
But that registration expires on December 31, after which point Olmo’s contract must be standardised due to Christensen becoming available again.
Barca’s attempts to register Olmo for the second half of the season have been denied. Judge Ignacio Fernandez de Senespleda, head of Barcelona’s Commerical Court 10, decided against the injuction which would allow Olmo to play.
However, Barca have filed ANOTHER lawsuit, with a new hearing to be heard on Monday December 30, in an effort to get Olmo registered.
And if that lawsuit fails then Olmo could become available on a free transfer thus opening up the possibility of an incredible double deal for Liverpool to complete from Barcelona.
