Liverpool transfer news: MULTIPLE reports now confirm AMAZING Joao Pedro news
Liverpool and Joao Pedro - a match made in heaven? It appears the Reds see things that way as they pursue the Brighton star.
Multiple reports now confirm that Liverpool are hoping to sign Joao Pedro from Brighton. The first came from Francaois Plateau last week, who claimed the Reds have sounded out a move.

That was promptly followed by Ekrem Konur, who also says talks have started and there's movement towards a deal.
Two in rapid succession like that usually suggests there's something to it. But now a much stronger source has jumped on the Pedro to Liverpool train and claims there's a genuine possibility here.
Joao Pedro to Liverpool
UOL in Brazil reports in detail on Liverpool's interest in Joao Pedro. They're claiming that the Reds are actually after a summer transfer here but plan on starting full-on negotiations in January.
Now, we'll hope that's because they feel a January move is somewhat possible. The reality is more likely to be - as outlined UOL's report - that negotiating with Brighton is a nightmare and Liverpool want to give themselves as much time as possible.
Arne Slot apparently wants a striker fitting exactly Pedro's profile, which is jumpstarting this pursuit. A 'false 9' in other words as the Reds move back to the Bobby Firmino days.
And what better player to do that with than Pedro? We're huge fans and actually compared him to Firmino shortly before all these reports broke.
If that's the direction Liverpool want to go down, we can't see a better option. Certainly not one who's also delivering in the Premier League before even turning 24.
This is a genuinely exciting suggestion and Liverpool could find the future of their attack here. With a lot of speculation surrounding the strikers the Reds might want to sign, it's difficult to see many better ways to splash the cash.
And that's the other thing here - Pedro won't come cheap. But honestly, we think he'd be worth whatever Brighton are asking.
