Chelsea plan to STEAL Liverpool's Mo Salah replacement
Sooner or later Liverpool are going to be in the market for a Mohamed Salah replacement. The Egyptian King is out of contract in summer 2025 and so far no agreement has been reached over a new deal.
It’s believed Salah would like to remain on Merseyside in order to pursue individual and team honours but there are currently no guarantees that he will stay.

Liverpool negotiators and Salah’s camp are still some distance apart when it comes to the terms of a new deal - with salary and contract duration proving to be sticking points.

Accordingly, if no deal is struck then Salah leaves a gaping hole in the Reds’ attack which sporting director Richard Hughes and head coach Arne Slot must fill.
Recent reports suggested Rodrygo, 24, was back on the club radar. The Real Madrid winger has won three LaLiga titles and two Champions Leagues during his time at the club but risks being squeezed out of the lineup soon.
Rodrygo on Liverpool radar
The likes of Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior are the top dogs in the Real attack and the 15-time European champions may well listen to offers for Brazil international Rodrygo this summer.
The wide forward will be highly valued in the market and is under contract at the Bernabeu until 2028.
Liverpool have been reported to be prepared to pay €80 million for the wide man but that might not be enough to convince Madrid to sell them this Salah replacement.
And now Fichajes is reporting that Chelsea are ready to swoop in for Rodrygo and are willing to pay up to €120m to land him.
Chelsea would pay €120m for Rodrygo
“The London club sees the Brazilian as the offensive leader they need to relaunch their project under Enzo Maresca,” a report reads.
“The growing competition in the Real Madrid attack—with VinĂcius and Kylian MbappĂ© as the star players—has caused his role within the team to fluctuate, something Stamford Bridge is looking to capitalize on by enticing him with a guaranteed role and a personalized development plan.”
Rodrygo has been linked with Liverpool in transfer windows past and even admitted he was close to agreeing a move to Merseyside before opting for Real.
