Bournemouth set plans in motion for Liverpool target to MOVE
One of the most overlooked aspects of a transfer is convincing a player to move before their current club has arranged a replacement for them.
For example, Liverpool will be unable to bring a new striker in until Darwin Nunez is sold. The Uruguayan represents a substantial amount of cash that could go directly into the budget for replacing him.

Every transfer that a club makes requires a subsequent transfer to be made in order for a deal to be made, ordinarily. Why would you leave yourself short for the benefit of a healthier bank account?

As such, with that in mind, the latest developments coming out of Bournemouth represent incredibly pleasing news for the Reds, who have their eye firmly on two of the Cherries' current players.
Bournemouth have started assessing Kerkez replacements
Liverpool have firmly expressed interest in Milos Kerkez this season as a player who could come in and address the concerns around the left-back role.
Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas have each shown vulnerabilities in the position this season, and so it seems logical that one of them will be leaving this summer.
However, once Liverpool have decided who will leave to make room for Kerkez, two things will need to happen: a potential suitor will need to be found for the player leaving the Reds, and Bournemouth will need to find someone to replace Kerkez before they sanction the move.
The Hungarian has been outstanding this season, and his absence from the Cherries next season will be felt heavily, unless a new protege is found. Otherwise, they might simply refuse to sell him.
But the latest reports from The Mirror represent positive steps for Liverpool.
They claim that Bournemouth have already started succession planning with Julian Soler's move in January proving to be a decision that was sanctioned in case an approach was made for Kerkez.
And furthermore, other reinforcements are on Bournemouth's radar, such as Fran Garcia from Real Madrid and Wolves' Hugo Bueno, who are each potential replacements, the former being a ready-made experiences asset and the latter who has showcased himself as a promising future star.
For Liverpool, it seems as though Kerkez is the number one priority, and if all this work behind the scenes is already starting to take place, then a move for the Hungarian will only be getting closer.
Other left-back targets might still be assessed by the Reds before a decision is made - of course, the season still has four weeks left of it and the transfer window will not open until June.

But a deal for Kerkez is looking promising, which in turn will be good news for a potential move for Dean Huijsen who is also at Bournemouth, as it looks like they're willing to let go of a few players.
