Liverpool quoted JAW-DROPPING asking price for striking target
Liverpool have been tipped for a summer striker shakeup in the transfer market. Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez could be sacrificed if the right bids materialise and there have been no shortage of links to upgrades.

There are also targets being looked at overseas with Bundesliga sensation Hugo Ekitike established on the radar.

Accordingly, there is another name on the radar for Liverpool as well as several Premier League rivals. It’s Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig, whose team are set for a summer reset and are expected to cash in on several star names.
Leipzig want €100m for Sesko
Castello Lukeba and Xavi Simons - two other Liverpool targets - could also be sold as Jurgen Klopp’s influence begins to take hold the Red Bull-owned club.
Sesko, 21, has scored 19 goals and added six assists for Leipzig across all competitions this season and is the subject of heavy interest from the English top flight.
It was rumoured that the Slovenian international could even be sold in January, but the club’s demands weren’t ultimately met. Sesko no longer has a release clause in his contract but Red Bull bosses have reportedly pledged to allow him to leave this summer.
Man Utd interested in Sesko
That’s according to a new report in BILD, which claims Leipzig want around €100 million for their star attraction.
“RB Leipzig promised his agents that the striker could join a top club this summer,” the report reads. “However, the fee is freely negotiable and, from Leipzig's perspective, should be close to €100 million.”
Liverpool face competiton from Manchester United should they aim to land Sesko this summer and the Red Devils may well have the upper hand should they get involved in the bidding.
Sporting director Christopher Vivell was the one who initially brought Sesko into the Red Bull family, signing him to Salzburg as a 16-year-old and bringing him to Leipzig in 2023.
