Talented winger Ben Doak will be the latest Liverpool youngster to depart Liverpool on loan.

As per DaveOCKOP, the Scotsman has agreed a loan deal with Hull City after receiving numerous loan offers from the Premier League and Championship this summer.

Liverpool had given Doak the green light to leave on loan and have been weighing up the best option for his development.

Liverpool loanees have thrived at Hull in recent times with Fabio Carvalho and Tyler Morton starring at the Tigers last season and now The Reds will be hoping Doak can continue this trend and try to force himself into Arne Slot's first-team set up.

Fabio Carvalho joined the Championship side for the second-half of last campaign after a disappointing loan at RB Leipzig prior to Christmas. The Portuguese attacker impressed during his time at the MKM stadium and earned himself a spot on Liverpool's pre season tour before completing a permanent move to Premier League side Brentford.

As for Morton, he caught the eye of Hull Manager Liam Rosenior who waxed lyrical of the 21 year-old as a football player.

“Some of his play, honestly, he can do everything as a midfield player.

“When we were recruiting in the summer, he fits completely into the way we want to play.

“The beauty with Tyler is he can play deep and he can be just as effective there, but what we’ve seen in training is he can create and score goals,"  Rosenior said.

CHIESA SIGNING LIMITS DOAK

Liverpool announced the signing of Italian winger Federico Chiesa from Juventus on Thursday in a deal that could rise to £12.5 million.

The Italian's arrival on Merseyside pushes Doak down the pecking order in Liverpool's current attacking ranks so a year away playing regular football would be the best for him and the club.

Doak has also just been called up to Scotland's first-team for the upcoming international break after unfortunately missing out on their Euro 2024 squad after an injury-stricken start to the year.

A successful loan move could present Liverpool with a cash-in opportunity or a player that could be a huge asset to the first-team, similar to Harvey Elliott after his own successful loan with Blackburn Rovers in 2021.
