Preparations made as Liverpool target EXPECTED to move
One Liverpool target is expected to move this summer and preparations are being made in advance.
Liverpool and Real Madrid have been locked in a transfer war over the last few years. It's been remarkably one-sided, however, as the latter have signed virtually everyone the two clubs have fought over.

Aurelien Tchouameni, Rodrgyo Goes, Endrick, Kylian Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga, Jude Bellingham...
We might even be forgetting some there. Players just typically pick Real Madrid and honestly, it's quite incredible that they've found room for them all.
Of course, Trent Alexander-Arnold is likely to be another name added to that list. Alexander-Arnold's contract expires at the end of the season and Liverpool are struggling to get him to sign a new one.
The reason for that? Real Madrid. Los Blancos have his head well and truly turned - enough so that it's essentially a given at this point that Alexander-Arnold leaves his boyhood club.
But that's not even the only expected transfer battle ahead of next season. There's another, this time in Germany, where the Reds hope to finally win out.

The Piero Hincapie situation
Sky Germany reports that Bayer Leverkusen have started talks with Swiss defender Albian Hajdari. They’re pushing forward on their interest and it's for one all-important reason.
They need a replacement for Piero Hincapie who, for the second consecutive summer, is attracting major interest. The two clubs named here are Liverpool and Real Madrid - both of whom are after defenders this summer.
Liverpool's interest in Hincapie appears to have been pretty strong last year, though that was back when Xabi Alonso was favourite to take over from Jurgen Klopp. Of course, he's now the favourite to take over from Carlo Ancelotti.

And that's why we can't imagine this is a race Liverpool can win. It really does appear that Alonso will be the next Real Madrid boss and that makes Hincapie a perfect signing, really.
Liverpool also have other defensive options that look very, very realistic. As useful as Hincapie's versatility would be, we're not sure he's particularly high on the shortlist this summer.
That's not to say that Liverpool wouldn't love to have him - we're sure they would - but he's not a priority target right now. Perhaps things change but we expect that if Real Madrid truly want him, he's theirs.

And then yet another Liverpool target (as tentative as their interest is) could be wearing all white next season.
