Liverpool set to LOSE right-back to Barcelona
Liverpool have got a legitimate fear of losing Trent Alexander-Arnold at the end of this season. The 26-year-old is out of contract in summer 2025 and so far the club have been unable to tie him down to a new deal.
Real Madrid appear determined to add the right-back to their squad on a high-profile free transfer at the end of the campaign.

Los Blancos can offer Trent a lot more than what has been on offer at Liverpool - in wages and signing-on fees and the risk is that the England international could be tempted to call him on his Anfield career.
Although Liverpool have got a very good back-up to Alexander-Arnold in Conor Bradley, the Northern Ireland international has suffered through some injuries this season.
Sourcing adequate cover at right-back will be uppermost in the concerns of sporting director Richard Hughes and head coach Arne Slot should they lose Trent on a free.
Vanderson on the list for Barcelona
There have been several names linked with a potential Merseyside arrival in the position. Wesley Franca of Flamengo, Lutsharel Geertruida and Jeremie Frimpong are among the right-backs associated with Liverpool.

There is another one however in the form of Monaco defender Vanderson. The 23-year-old has scored one goal and added two assists in Ligue 1 this season and has attracted the Reds’ attention along with several top European clubs.
He is under contract in the Principality until 2028 but is widely expected to depart this summer. Sadly for Liverpool, it looks like Vanderson could well be off-limits in the upcoming transfer window due to additional interest from Barcelona.
Liverpool set to LOSE Trent replacement
“Vanderson is in the Barcelona folder for next season,” writes journalist Uriel Iugt on X. “There is a concrete interest from the Blaugrana club in the full-back from Monaco and as @joaquimpiera reported, Hansi Flick would have approved his signing.
“There are more names on the list.”
