Liverpool step up move for LaLiga statistical MARVEL
Liverpool are plotting a major attacking overhaul in the summer transfer window. Departure could include Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota at No9 as head coach Arne Slot and sporting director Richard Hughes eye upgrades.
But the wings could also see significant business being done as there is no certainty over whether Luis Diaz and Federico Chiesa will continue at the club.

Several names have been linked - including Alexander Isak, Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Sesko up front - while the likes of Jamie Gittens and Malick Fofana have been mentioned as wing options.

One more player who has emerged on the radar over the course of 2025 is the 19-year-old Real Betis sensation Jesus Rodriguez.
Liverpool scouting Jesus Rodriguez
Described as a “marvel” by a former coach in a recent profile by Relevo, Rodriguez scored in last week’s Europa Conference League quarter-final victory over Jagiellonia Białystok.
According to Scouts in Attendance on X, Liverpool staff were on hand to witness Rodriguez’s goal.
And now Caught Offside claims that Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all competing for the winger ahead of the summer transfer window.
“The Gunners have had their scouts closely monitor Rodriguez in recent games in La Liga, as have both Liverpool and Chelsea,” the report reads.
Blessed with astonishing pace, the Spain under-19 European champion has made a decisive step up to Manuel Pellegrini’s first-team squad this season.
Jesus Rodriguez's mind-blowing stats
He has been likened to Gareth Bale in an article for Breaking the Lines while DataMB has been raving about his potential.
In comparison to all other under-20 wingers in Europe’s top seven leagues, Rodriguez ranks first for progressive carries, ball-carrying frequency, fouls suffered, duels won as well as offensive duels won.
The sky is the limit for the Seville-born talent, who has got a goal and one assist in 15 LaLiga matches this term, with several of Europe’s top teams now on his case.

He signed a pro deal back in September, tying him to Betis until 2029. Rodriguez is also reported to have a release clause in his deal worth up to £42m.
