Arne Slot's WORST NIGHTMARE as key signing eyed up by rival club
Arne Slot is leading a revolution in the Liverpool boot room.
The Dutch tactician was signed from Feyenoord over the summer to replace the outgoing Jurgen Klopp, whose entire backroom team departed at the same time.

Club owners Fenway Sports Group had no doubts that Slot was the man to take Liverpool forward into the future and the work of the head coach and his staff has so far led to great success.
Liverpool top the Premier League and are top of the Champions League group phase too. Furthermore, they are into the EFL Cup semi-finals with the FA Cup third-round tie against Accrington Stanley to come in January.
Slot has painstakingly assembled his staff, selecting the best Feyenoord had to offer in Sipke Hulshoff, Ruben Peeters and Roderick van der Ham. A new goalkeeper coach in Fabian Otte has also come on board and Slot also made an intriguing appointment to his backroom in the shape of John Heitinga.
Arne Slot praises Heitinga
The former defender was previously in caretaker charge of Ajax and has also featured on the staff of David Moyes at West Ham.
His signing was quite a coup for Liverpool and Heitinga and Hulshoff took charge for the EFL Cup quarter-final against Southampton last week when Slot was suspended.
Slot has been full of praise for Heitinga, telling Algemeen Dagblad that Ajax didn't realise what they had when Heitinga was on the books.
“The fact that Sven Mislintat did not choose Heitinga as head coach at the time and that he left Ajax for that reason, Liverpool now benefits from that," he said.
"They apparently didn't realise in Amsterdam that they had an excellent trainer in the house.”
West Brom want Heitinga as new manager
Unfortunately for Slot, other clubs have gained an insight into just what Heitinga could bring.
According to Football Insider, West Brom have put Heitinga on their list of preferred candidates to replace Valencia-bound Carlos Corberan.
The Baggies are seeking promotion from the Championship and require a high-class replacement for the Spaniard to keep their hopes alive.
“Heitinga’s Premier League experience and his progressive style of management makes him an attractive option for West Brom as they look at potential options to keep their bid for promotion on track,” the report states.
“It is his experience learning in the Premier League under two top managers which has pushed him towards the top of the Baggies’ managerial shortlist.”
Slot will be desperate to guard against the loss of a highly-rated coach who has assisted Liverpool’s rise to the top of the standings in the early part of the season.
