The likes of Ben Doak and Stefan Bajcetic have been experiencing various ups and downs throughout the campaign. Doak has been impressive for Middlesbrough in the Championship but recently suffered a thigh injury.

Bajcetic meanwhile is also out injured having got hurt during a game for Las Palmas in LaLiga. This loan spell follows a short, unhappy stint at Red Bull Salzburg.
Players out on loan can either gain the requisite experience to come back and challenge for a first-team role - like Conor Bradley and Harvey Elliott - or else earn the club good money in the transfer market.
Sepp van den Berg and Fabio Carvalho - for example - spent extensive time away from Anfield on loan during their Liverpool careers before earning the club around £50 million last summer when they were sold to Brentford.
There are another two players out on loan earning rave reviews for their performances in the Championship and who could serve Liverpool well in the transfer market if they are sold.
Beck and Koumas wanted by Sheffield United
Owen Beck has been among the most impressive left-backs in the Championship this season on loan at Blackburn Rovers. And fellow Welshman Lewis Koumas has been doing a decent job in difficult circumstances at Stoke City.
Beck, 22, has played 23 second-tier games this season, scoring once, and has even been tipped as a successor to Andy Robertson in the Liverpool first team.
Koumas, meanwhile, is a few years younger at only 19 and the forward has scored six goals and made three assists in 36 games across all competitions this term.
And in his Liverpool Confidential column for the Daily Mail, Lewis Steele has revealed that promotion-chasing Sheffield United are keen to recruit the Wales international pair if they make it to the Premier League.
“Owen Beck and Lewis Koumas are thriving at Blackburn and Stoke respectively and the Blades have put them on a long list of targets for the summer should they win promotion back to the Premier League,” he writes.
“Chris Wilder’s long-term right-hand man Alan Knill knows the pair well after working with them for Wales, where he served as an assistant to Rob Page.”

It remains to be seen what Richard Hughes and Arne Slot have got planned for Beck and Koumas but they will surely be tempted to cash in if Sheffield United come forward with the right kind of offer.
