'Arne Slot would be CRAZY not to sign this Ajax prodigy'
Liverpool could soon be forced into transfers at left-back as well as centre-back.
Captain Virgil van Dijk is out of contract at the end of the season while there is uncertainty around the future of Ibrahima Konate too.

Losing both first-choice centre-backs would mean sporting director Richard Hughes and head coach Arne Slot plunging into the transfer market for a high-quality replacement.

At left-back, Andy Robertson could well be replaced sooner rather than later having just turned 31 and failing to perform with the same consistency this season.
And at Ajax there could be one player regarded as a solution to both problems.
Liverpool linked with Jorrel Hato
Jorrel Hato, 19, recently became the youngest-EVER Ajax player to reach 100 matches. Although he emerged as an elegant left-sided centre-back, this season he has been playing more as a left-back.
In 40 games across all competitions this season he has hit three goals and provided six assists.
Transfer talk around the Dutch international has been prominent all season long and Hato sent the rumour mill into overdrive by visiting Anfield for a match earlier this campaign.
And now one influential voice has urged Slot to do whatever it takes to make sure Hato ends up at Liverpool next season.
Ex-Ajax striker Kenneth Perez was in discussions about Hato’s development on ESPN television show Voetbalpraat on Monday night.
The former Danish international was effusive in his praise of the youngster, describing him as the Eredivisie side’s outstanding player.
Liverpool 'would be crazy' not to get Hato
"Jorrel Hato is the only absolute top talent of Ajax," the ex-Eredivisie winner said.
“When you have played so many matches as such a young player… an important quality is that you are rarely or never injured. He just always plays. Really always.
"His mentor Winston Bogarde actually thought it was ridiculous that he was going to play left-back, but he has actually become even better in that position. He is versatile instead of one-sided.”

Maarten Wijffels, a journalist for Algemeen Dagblad, then quizzed Perez about the next steps available to the teenager.
“Andy Robertson will retire at Liverpool at some point. He would be a perfect left-back for Liverpool, wouldn’t he?” the journalist asked.
“Arne Slot would also be crazy not to get him, if they can afford him,” came the reply from Perez.
