Liverpool risk fans' WRATH if they really replace Mo Salah for just £10m
Liverpool eye up a new signing on the cheap - but he can't possibly be the Mo Salah replacement. If the Egyptian leaves, of course.
Mo Salah could leave Liverpool at the end of the season. That much is incredibly obvious now and becomes more realistic with every passing day.

Salah's contract expires in June and he's actually able to talk with clubs right now, as long as they're not from England. He certainly hasn't signed with anyone just yet - but maybe he will tomorrow? Maybe next week?
In short, Liverpool must think about a succession plan because they're currently in line to lose their most important forward. The player their attack is essentially built around and has been for nearly eight years.
That's no easy feat, given Salah is pretty unquestionably the world's best right-sided forward. Even those who look likely to claim that crown for themselves down the line are unattainable for Liverpool.
There is no easy cut-and-paste option for the Reds. Instead, they'll have to be a bit inventive with any plans to replace Salah in the team.
But one that's now popped up can't possibly be it.
Liverpool eye Hadj-Moussa
Liverpool reportedly want to sign Ansi Hadj-Moussa from Feyenoord. The 22-year-old has been eye-catching for Arne Slot's old team this season and it appears the Reds like what they see.
It's easy to see why. Hadj-Moussa has six goals across the Eredivisie and the UEFA Champions League this season. That's despite only starting nine fixtures in those competitions.
Per Football Critic, there are four 'big chances' to go along with those goals - on top of some impressive numbers for duels and dribbling. All in all, Hadj-Moussa could be one to really watch for the future.
For the future. That's the important bit here because Hadj-Moussa couldn't possible be the Salah replacement. He doesn't have the experience nor the proven ability to step into the first-team for Liverpool.
In fact, we can't imagine that replacement can be signed for the £10m he'd apparently cost. Liverpool have got to aim high with any Salah successor.
If only for the fans. Salah disappearing will bring about intense pressure as it's absolutely not what Liverpool fans want.
Thus the replacement must be of the calibre fans want. If he's not, the pressure could become unbearable, especially with expectations as high as they are.
Hadj-Moussa could absolutely be a Liverpool player in the making. Salah's immediate replacement, however, is a stretch too far.
