Real Madrid want Liverpool's Andy Robertson REPLACEMENT
Liverpool have been linked with more left-backs than players in any other position of late.
Premier League stars Milos Kerkez, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Antonee Robinson have all been associated with Anfield moves. Further afield, Alphonso Davies has also been mentioned but it looks like Canadian will stay put at Bayern Munich. There is another option in the shape of Slavia Prague's El Hadji Malick Diouf.

The reason Liverpool will soon require a starting left-back is that Andy Robertson is not getting any younger. Robertson, 30, has been at Liverpool since 2017 and has helped the club to every major honour in the game.
But the Scot hasn’t been at his best in every game this season and is facing significant pressure from Kostas Tsmikas for his starting position.
Neither looks like the long-term solution at left-back, meaning sporting director Richard Hughes is having to consider alternatives.
Liverpool to fight Madrid for Carreras
One other name who appeared on the list this week was Alvaro Carreras.
The former Real Madrid and Manchester United youth team player is now establishing himself at Benfica having completed a €6 million (plus €3m in bonuses and add-ons) from Old Trafford last summer.
Carreras, 21, shone in this week’s Champions League defeat to Barcelona and has done enough all season long to get on the radar of European giants.
United - as well as Liverpool - have been named as Premier League suitors and now Carreras is the subject of transfer interest from Real Madrid.
Diario AS claims that the top Spanish sides are desperate to repatriate Carreras. Madrid could do with added quality at left-back and have been linked with a free transfer move for Davies in their own right.
With Carreras carrying a reported €50m release clause - and Man Utd boasting a buyback clause - there are no guarantees where he will be playing his football next season.
While Benfica might be tempted to cash in having signed the Spaniard for snip, the player is keen to repay the Portuguese club’s faith.
“Going back to Spain? We never know, but I have a contract for many years here at Benfica, I am happy,” he said after the Barca game.
“They gave me the opportunity to grow and I owe them everything.”
Liverpool might well be forced to look elsewhere for their next candidate to replace Robbo.
