Liverpool could REPLACE Andy Robertson with €50m Man Utd reject
Liverpool are not the only club looking for a potential recruit at left-back.
Manchester United have had problems going back several seasons in the position with the likes of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia proving to be injured and unreliable.

Accordingly the Old Trafford outfit have been linked with several left-backs of late and plenty who have also been associated with moves to Liverpool.
Milos Kerkez and Patrick Dorgu are two such names, with both the Bournemouth man and the Lecce standout appearing on Liverpool’s radar.
Man Utd appear determined to press ahead with a deal for Dorgu - a Denmark international who can also play further forward.
A new recruit at left-back is going to be integral for Ruben Amorim going forward, a coach who requires a player with Dorgu’s profile in order to implement his wing-back system.
United’s initial €27 million approach for Dorgu has reportedly fallen short of Lecce’s valuation with the Italian side holding out for €40m.
Could Liverpool move for Carreras?
Napoli are also in the mix for his signature but if Amorim’s side get a deal over the line for Dorgu then it could open new doors for Liverpool.
That’s because if Dorgu is acquired then it’s UNLIKELY the Old Trafford outfit activate the buyback clause in the contract of another left-back they sold to Benfica last summer - and one who Liverpool have been linked with.
Alvaro Carreras has been in sensational form for the Portuguese giants this season, putting him on the radar of plenty of top clubs. Sold by United for only €6m, with another €3m due in potential add-ons, it was reported that the English side could buy him back for only €18m.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, United will instead weigh up a move for Dorgu.
The Liverpool links have been established for quite a while and if United back off then it could mean an Andy Robertson successor is one step closer.
Carreras, 21, signed a deal until 2029 with Benfica and has a reported buyout clause in his contract of €50m.
