Liverpool want to replace legend with world’s BEST

Liverpool have been blessed with some of the best footballing talents in the world.

From Alisson to Mohamed Salah, our squad is littered with players that other teams can only dream of attaining.

It is hard to strengthen the current team and only specific players can be trusted to wear the Liver bird on their chest.

But one player who the Reds have chased before has recently been named as the best in the world in his position, which could entice the board to pursue a deal.

Davies desires Premier League

Alphonso Davies has been consistently performing on the European scene for some time now

Having excelled at Bayern Munich for five years, the 24-year-old is reportedly considering a move to England next year with both Liverpool and Arsenal wanting his signature.

Bayern Munich remain confident that he will extend his contract but if this falls through, the Canadian international will be available as a free agent.

This could tactically be a genius move from the Liverpool recruitment team.

With Davies playing at left-back, he could be the perfect replacement for Andy Robertson who has shown signs of losing his mojo this season.

Liverpool are also said to be keen on Premier league stars such as Fulham’s Antonee Robinson and Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, but with Davies vast European and Champions League experience, he may be a better fit.

The Reds would also gain the best left-back in the world.

This is according to a post released by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) where the Bayern star was named in their Men’s World Team of 2024.

He was anointed in a team which includes Rodri, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr; some illustrious company.

If the Reds were to gain such a player, his consistency, skill and tenacity would be a welcome sight for Arne Slot and the perfect replacement for an ageing Robertson.
