Trent Alexander-Arnold is the most high profile of those right now, with Real Madrid eager to snap him up. He's also unique in that he's actually entertaining the idea of leaving Liverpool.

The Reds have offered their homegrown talent a few contracts at this point. They're still unable to get a new deal done, though, and as time goes on, a move to Real Madrid looks more and more likely.

Mo Salah went the other way. He had an absolutely incredible offer from Saudi Arabia to become one of the faces of the Saudi Pro League.

Reports suggest there was around £250m on the table for Salah. He rejected it, however, giving up £210m in order to remain at Liverpool.

He's not the only one to reject the mega-money, either. It appears Alisson Becker has done something very similar.

Alisson Becker and Saudi Arabia

There have long been rumours that Saudi Arabian sides want to sign Alisson. He's been one of the world's best goalkeepers ever since arriving at Liverpool, after all.

And it seems he really has had those offers. Liverpool goalkeeping coach (and Brazil legend) Claudio Taffarel talked about it recently in an interview with ESPN, making it clear that Alisson is chasing something different to the Saudi cash.

"He wants to continue living this story," said Taffarel. "I saw that this wave of Arabia came up with great opportunities, very high proposals, but he always says: "Wow, I want to continue this story, because I owe a lot to them here, and I want to continue this life here."

Liverpool are certainly better off for it. The Reds have relied on Alisson since day one and some of his performances this season have been truly world-class.

We'd still have him down as the world's best goalkeeper and that sets up an interesting story this summer. Giorgi Mamardashvil will arrive from Valencia and with no intentions of being a backup player.

Alisson, though, wants to continue his Liverpool story and everyone will want him to do just that. A difficult one for the club to manage.

For now, we're absolutely backing Alisson.
