Liverpool hold perfect ACE to get brilliant wonderkid deal done
Liverpool hold the right cards to complete a deal for one of Europe's most promising young players. Especially after his surprise appearance at Anfield.
Jorrel Hato caused a stir on Saturday as the teenager was supposedly at Anfield to watch Liverpool's 4-1 win over Ipswich Town. We say 'supposedly' because it certainly looked a lot like him.

One of Hato's close friends was also there (and sitting in the same spot) while Football Transfers suggest that was indeed Hato. We're confident it was him, in other words.
Naturally, that got the fans talking. Hato is an incredibly exciting prospect and one of the most talked-about young defenders in European football.
So why was he at Anfield? Maybe to sign for Liverpool? That seems unlikely and it probably had more to do with the Reds boasting a strong Dutch contingent these days, if we're honest.
But make no mistake - Liverpool will be looking into a move for Hato. Every major club is, and they'll be no different.
Especially as the Reds boast an ace up their sleeve that could make them favourites.

Liverpool's Jorrel Hato ace
Hato is a product of Ajax's youth academy, of course, and has been hyped for a few years now. He won the Abdelhak Nouri trophy in 2023, given to the best player at Jong Ajax - i.e. the brightest prospect at the club.
And his manager for that? John Heitinga, the current Liverpool coach.
In fact, it was Heitinga who presented that award to Hato. Now he's a clear advantage for Liverpool, should they ultimately decide to pursue the young defender.
We imagine they'll have a look, along with most of Europe. Ajax's finances aren't flying right now after some disappointing campaigns and the Reds will be one of those investigating that.
Especially with all the success from the Eredivisie. Ryan Gravenberch and Cody Gakpo have gone from bright young talents to key players at Liverpool (though Gravenberch did arrive via the Bundesliga).
Maybe Hato will be next. Liverpool can leverage the fact their coach knows him well - and can get the best out of him. And that could get a deal done.
