The country continues to invest heavily into football, bringing in young talents and making ambitious moves to bolster the squads of some of their biggest clubs like Al Nassr and Al Hilal.
That's why the Saudis have targeted the likes of Darwin Nunez, as exclusively revealed by Anfield Watch. And of course Mohamed Salah as well.
But the Saudis have ambitions to win the World Cup when they will host the tournament in 2034 and for that they have began an ambitious project to develop the nation's youth players.
This has seen the emergence of Abdulrahman Sufyani, who is reportedly on Liverpool's radar.
Who is Abdulrahman Sufyani?
Liverpool are keeping an eye on the exciting 16-year-old who has been catching the eye in his homeland after scoring 88 goals in 44 youth matches in the Saudi Youth League and broke a record for the most goals in a single game when he netted a whopping 34 goals in one match.
An intelligent player Abdulrahman is still relatively small in stature at 174cm and thrives in one vs one situations. In a 5-2 defeat to the Netherland's U17 national team, Sufyani still stood out for completing four out of six dribble attempts and scoring a goal as well.
He's a player who can be explosive and dynamic when he has the ball at his feet and is able to quickly change direction to bamboozle his opponents.
Despite his young age, he is already being tipped as the player to spearhead Saudi Arabia's 2034 World Cup hopes - that's how highly rated he is.
He's left-footed, which makes him a unique profile, especially because he can play in those central positions as well as out wide on the wing.
His one vs one ability combined with a brilliant eye for goal and finishing ability gives him all the raw traits to be an excellent attacker.
For Saudi Arabia, at youth international level, he averages 4.96 shots per 90 and gets 66.7% of them on target while averaging 0.83 goals per 90.
And the impressive thing about him is that he is doing it against tough opponents. In the last year alone, Sufyani has netted against the Netherlands and England for Saudi Arabia's youth sides.
As an attacker it's often hard to stand out in those games when your team are dominated against but despite heavy defeats suffered by his side, Sufyani has still managed to make his mark, find the back of the net and catch the eye with his performance.
Born in 2008, he's still a very raw talent. It won't be until next summer in 2026 when he would be able to join Liverpool once he has turned 18 years old.
But at the moment, his impressive development makes him a really intriguing candidate for the Reds.

FSG's and Michael Edwards' goal is to establish a multi-club model and someone like Sufyani would be an excellent candidate to target for that purpose.
