Liverpool transfer news roundup: Doucoure link, Henderson update, Lavia & Andre competition

Here's your roundup of the Liverpool transfer goss this Tuesday...

First up: has Jordan Henderson gone yet? No, is the short answer. Neil Jones updates that he and Al-Ettifaq remain in talks, but the Liverpool captain (for now) will feature in Wednesday's pre-season opener against Karlsruher.

And Fabinho? No real news there either. The Echo say Liverpool and Al-Ittihad remain "locked" in talks. Hopefully someone has the key.

Another man on the move (potentially quicker) is Nat Phillips. Last Word on Football claim the defender has reached an agreement in principle with Leeds United.

To incomings then and, at this point, the list of midfielders not linked with Liverpool feels shorter than those linked. Crystal Palace's Cheick Doucoure is the 1,000th name in the frame, say Football Insider, with the Reds "exploring" a move for the 23-year-old Malian.

The same outlet say Arsenal are eyeing Liverpool's most-discussed Fabinho replacement, Romeo Lavia, to take over from their own Saudi-bound midfielder, Thomas Partey.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are still keen on Bayern Munich's Ryan Gravenberch, according to Christian Falk, who told GiveMeSport that the Reds remain "interested" — as do AC Milan.

Mail Online have come up with a price tag of £25m Sofyan Amrabat — supposedly another on the not-so-shortlist.

Brazilian journalist Emmanuel Luiz says Fulham have made a new offer of €30m for Liverpool-linked Andre Trindade from Fluminense.

And finally, the Reds have been name-checked in a piece from CaughtOffside about Jeremy Doku (remember him?). Liverpool are among the interested clubs, but remain focussed on strengthening midfield and defence first.
