Elliott has been limited for playing time this season and there are reports the Reds would consider selling him with the likes of Brighton and Borussia Dortmund interested.

The 21-year-old will be reluctant to leave his boyhood club, who he has supported alongside his father growing up and even travelled to Kyiv to watch the Reds take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final in 2018.
But if he continues to struggle for minutes, he will have no choice but to look for pastures new. Elliott needs game time in order to continue his development and it doesn't look likely that he will get that at Liverpool.
For whatever reason, it seems that Slot prefers other midfielders ahead of him in the pecking order. Stylistically, Elliott just doesn't seem to fit into the Dutchman's plans.
But there is a midfielder who does and Liverpool have apparently already made an offer for him.
Liverpool offer confirmed for Andrija Maksimovic
One player who Anfield Watch has exclusively revealed has been on Liverpool's radar is Andrija Maksimovic. The 17-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Serbian football at the moment and he is already a regular first team member of Crvena Zvezda's first team.
In the Champions League, Liverpool have watched him in action against the likes of AC Milan recently and now his agent has confirmed the Reds have made a move to sign the Serbian star.
Speaking as per the Daily Express, Maksimovic's agent, Zoran Stojadinovic said the following:
"It's no secret, there are some [offers].
"Liverpool are among them, Aston Villa, Leipzig and Atletico Madrid so all the clubs from the top leagues have shown serious interest.

"And then we get to whether the price is €12million [£10m] or €20m [£16.7m], so they say 'let's see if it's €20m by June.' by Taboola
"If the price was €10m [£8.4m] and he could go, Maksimovic would have already been sold."
Based on Anfield Watch's information, it's clear Liverpool admire the player. Maksimovic has an interesting profile. He's quite tall and has often been playing as a more advanced midfielder in Zvezda's system.
His technical qualities make him an ideal fit for Slot's squad. As a left-footed player, his profile could see him used on the right-wing as well, which is where he has played a few games for Zvezda and has even been used as a right-back in the past.
Brilliant on the ball, there are shades of a young Dominik Szoboszlai about him, which is exactly the type of profile Slot wants in that advanced midfield role in his system.

The kind of profile that Elliott simply is not. Maksimovic on the other hand could be a much better fit and probably a natural successor to the England U21 international if he leaves Anfield for pastures new.
