Liverpool look to strike STUNNING deal for Argentine wonderkid
Liverpool are looking into a deal for one of Argentina's biggest talents. Can Richard Hughes make it happen?
Liverpool have long wanted to enter the market for South American talent. It's just one they've never really broken into.

Their targets, usually from Brazil, typically move to different clubs and there is a good reason for it, admittedly. South American wonderkids fall into two camps - and Liverpool are placed between the two.
You've got those who aren't quite at the elite level but could be one day. Liverpool can't guarantee those players regular playing time, however, and they typically lose out on them to the likes of Brighton.
Then there are the truly elite ones: Endrick, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, etc. Liverpool pushed to sign all three, but all three picked Real Madrid. Chelsea have snapped up a few of the Reds' targets in recent years, but only because they've been willing to shell out incredible amounts of cash.
And so Liverpool have ended up with zero. All their young talent comes from within England, essentially, though they're hoping to change that.
The multi-club plans are a major part of that. They'll be able to sign wonderkids for different clubs under the FSG umbrella and keep them within Liverpool's reach.
But there are also still those who could break into Liverpool's first-team squad. And they may have found one.

Liverpool like Ian Subiabre
El Crack Deportivo reports that Liverpool have Ian Subiabre on their radar. They're following Chelsea and Barcelona in that regard and apparently rate the winger highly.
They're not the only ones who rate him at the top level, either. The report stats that the Argentine National Team see a big future for Subiabra and expect him to play a role for them down the line.
River Plate have the player locked down, we should say, but they're open to big offers. The suggestion here is that Liverpool may make such an offer in order to land one of South America's top talents.
This is firmly one to watch, then. Subiabra is almost certainly a name you'll hear more of over the next few years, with the 18-year-old already scoring in Argentina's top flight and making appearances in the Copa Libertadores.

The question is whether you'll be hearing that name at Anfield. Liverpool might just be able to make it happen.
